CrossFit Leman will start limited on-site CrossFit training at the Box on 11 May 2020. We will follow COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Confederation and the OFPS and the Cantons of Vaud and Geneva and implement procedures regarding distancing and hygiene. We need your collaboration and engagement in all areas. Individual responsibility, collective discipline and mutual respect will make our return to on-site training at CFL a success.

We will be offering limited on-site WoDs at all Boxes, Vich, the Drop Zone, Eaux-Vives and Nyon. We will continue to offer Online classes for members who cannot or choose not to participate in on-site classes. Active and CF Kids classes will remain online until further notice. FreeStyle and Open Corner are not possible at this time.

Equipment

To prepare for on-site training, please return borrowed equipment on Monday 4 May, or on the following Monday 11 May. If you are unable to return your equipment, please let us know by sending an email to train@crossfitleman.ch

On-Site Training Fundamentals

Distancing

  • 5 people per class: 4 participants & 1 coach.
  • 2 meters of distance between people at all times: before, during and after class.
  • 10m2 training area per person.
  • No physical contact.
  • Advance reservations through Zen Planner are obligatory.

Hygiene

  • Sanitize or wash hands before and after each class.
  • Disinfect equipment before, between and after each class.
  • Regular cleaning of all Boxes.

Respect

  • Follow on-site indications and coach instructions for distancing and hygiene.
  • If you have any COVID-19 symptoms – fever, cough, difficulty breathing – do not come to the Box. Contact your doctor and stay home. Follow OFPS guidelines.
  • If you have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19 or shows COVID-19 symptoms, do not come to the Box. Follow OFPS guidelines.
  • If you begin to exhibit COVID-19 symptoms after on-site training, please let us know immediately. We will begin “contact tracing” to quickly inform members or coaches who have been exposed.

On-site class organization

  • Classes will be 45 minutes in duration.
  • Each class will have a maximum of 5 participants: 1 coach and 4 members
  • Reservations on Zen Planner in advance are obligatory. There will be no wait list.
  • Arrive on time and dressed to train.
  • Entrance and exit doors/ areas will be indicated.
  • The entrance door will be locked until opened by the coach.
  • Arrive no more than 5 minutes before class start time.
  • Wait outside or in the designated waiting area.
  • Transit to training areas and through the Box will be indicated.
  • Individual training areas will be marked, and equipment will be prepared in advance.
  • Stay in your designated individual training area during the WoD.
  • Individual equipment will be disinfected by members before and after each WoD
  • Equipment remains in the WoD area.
  • Equipment will not be shared.
  • Leave the training area immediately after class.
  • Coaches will disinfect common equipment (handles, bars, etc.) before, between, after classes.

More about coming to the Box

  • Bring your own towel and water.
  • Feel free to bring and wear your own mask.
  • Changing areas and showers will be closed.
  • Toilets will be accessible for urgent needs.
  • There will be no “bar” service (i.e., no coffee, no smoothies)
  • There will be no kid’s corner.
  • CFL membership on-site payment will be possible, preferably by credit card.
  • Commercially packaged items (e.g., FoodSpring, NOCCO, pre-ordered hoodies) can be purchased. Payment by credit card is preferable.
